Tanzania Receives Two Tonnes of Medical Supplies from India to Strengthen Healthcare Cooperation

India has strengthened its humanitarian outreach and commitment to enhancing healthcare cooperation with Tanzania by delivering two tonnes of life-saving medical supplies to the Shree Hindu Mandal Hospital in Dar es Salaam.

The shipment, which was given to hospital trustee Kaushik L. Ramaiya by Indian High Commissioner Bishwadip Dey, contains medical supplies like inhalers, syringes, gloves, bandages, and wheelchairs in addition to necessary equipment like oxygen concentrators, suction units, oximeters, microscopes and stethoscopes.

It is anticipated that the supplies will improve the hospital's capacity for diagnosis, treatment and patient care.

The aid demonstrates continued healthcare cooperation between Tanzania and India as well as more general bilateral relations based on long-standing diplomatic and developmental engagement.
