Tata Projects has joined hands with global construction company Brookfield Multiplex to develop social infrastructure across the country. Both firms would jointly develop a range of commercial and retail, residential, healthcare and tourism and leisure projects across India.
“Brookfield will provide its expertise and technical know-how, while we will execute the projects,” Tata Projects MD Vinayak Deshpande said.
The company will focus on developing high-end projects and will be selective in bidding for any project.
“We will concentrate on developing high-end large urban projects across the segments using world class construction practises and efficient work systems. Our existing construction domain shall see a quantum shift especially in the way we construct high-rise buildings in faster time span,” Deshpande said.
The company will initially focus on contracts from the private sector and in select metros.
