Gramco Infratech inaugurates Binjal warehouse in Tarana tehsil, Ujjain

Gramco Infratech, an agriculture infrastructure company that aims at addressing the needs of the farming communities for farm services and agri-infrastructure, recently launched Gramco Binjal warehouse in Tarana tehsil of Ujjain district.

The warehouse possesses storage capacity of 5000 MT and grain cleaning/grading capacity of 15000 TPA. It was inaugurated by chief guest, Eleen Wratten, country head, DFID, Government of UK. Ananta Sarma, MD, SVCL; R V Dilip Kumar, CFO, SVCL; were present at the launch, apart from 500 to 600 farmers and traders of the region.

Raman Singh Saluja, MD and founder, Gramco Infratech, commented, “It is a matter of great pride for us to have launched the much-needed warehouse in Ujjain. The warehouse is equipped with modern facilities and will prove to be a great asset for the farmers. The inauguration of the new warehouse is another endeavour from Gramco to empower the farming community of the country with better products and services.”

Aiming to extend its outreach across 20 to 30 villages, the warehouse will serve over 3,000 farmers from medium to long term. With the company’s expansion plans to come up with four new warehouses with similar capacities in the next one month, Gramco is taking concrete steps to bolster the agricultural infrastructure of the country.
