In order to build a new facility, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) recently sold land near Kosi Kotwan in Mathura to Alpex Solar, a North Indian maker of solar panels. By the end of 2025, Alpex Solar will have 2.4 GW of total PV module capacity thanks to the installation of the new facility. 

 

Alpex Solar's managing director, Ashwani Sehgal, emphasized the new location's significance for the business's expansion goals, pointing out its convenient accessibility and practical benefits. "The industrial area at Kosi Kotwan in Mathura is practically an extended part of NCR, providing logistical and vendor support advantages, and is easily accessible through the National Highway within an hour's drive," stated Sehgal.
