VST Tillers gains 9% after signing a distribution agreement with ETGL Africa.

VST Tillers which is one of the largest Indian manufacturer of tillers, 4WD small tractors, and other category tractors, engines, transmission, power reaper, and precision components. It has also formed strategic relationships with the French company Pubert for power weeders and the Czech company Zetor for tractors.

"The agricultural and associated sectors are the country's silver lining in the face of the epidemic. The domestic tractor and agricultural machinery sector market has enormous potential for future expansion. Furthermore, the government has consistently prioritized this sector and announced several initiatives for rural development and farm mechanization, all of which are likely to contribute to an increase in tractor sales volume in the long run "VST Tillers stated in its annual report for fiscal year 2020-21.

Internationally, the firm intends to grow into additional areas such as Eastern Europe, Africa, Indonesia, and others. According to the firm, throughout Europe, it is expanding its brand 'VST' through various social media initiatives that enhance reach in existing and new markets.

“The company is now reported to have entered into an agreement with ETG (Export Trading Group) for the distribution of its tractors, power tillers, power reapers, and diesel engines in Southern African markets such as South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and Zambia,”

The firm also stated that the distribution strategy of VST Tillers Tractors in ETGL's portfolio is intended to extend the company's offering in the industry. The introduction brings the whole VST tractor and power tiller line to the Southern African market.

ETGL, a worldwide corporation with competence in several industries, has a well-established automobile and agricultural equipment distribution business in Southern Africa.
