Telangana plans 500 acres industrial hub

In an attempt to make the state an ideal destination for investors, the state government of Telangana has announced to allocate 500 acres of land to develop a separate Chinese industrial park in the State. In this connection, CII Telangana recently organised a luncheon with the Trade Mission from Hunan Province. The 25-member delegation had representatives from government and industry, exploring avenues to ensure investments in IT software, animation, e-commerce, software development, pharmaceutical industry, development of high-tech parks besides others, Secretary, State Department of Industries & Commerce, Arvind Kumar, said, in a statement. Chairperson, CII Telangana, and Executive Director & CFO, Elico Ltd, said there is an increasing emphasis, in both India and China, on expanding interactions between Indian States and Chinese provinces, cities and local governments. The industry in the state has given high appreciation for the industrial policy, which is one-of-its-kind and will certainly become a model policy for the rest of the country. Moreover, the Single Window Policy – TS-iPASS is indeed highly advanced and evincing keen interest from investors from across the globe.
