CHENNAI: Power transmission and distribution business of L&T Construction bagged orders worth Rs 1,038 crore in domestic and international markets in November, Larsen & Toubro said in a BSE filing o Thursday.

L&T said its fully-owned subsidiary Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia LLC bagged an order valued at SAR 405.75 million (US$108.2 million) for construction of five 132 kv sub-stations at Hail from the National Grid, Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of Saudi Electricity Company.

"These projects are in the central province of Saudi Arabia and are scheduled to be completed in 24 months," it added.

In the domestic market, the company bagged an order from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (OPTCL).

The stock of Larsen & Toubro was trading at Rs 1,347.45, up 0.38% on the BSE.
