A plastics research university, claimed to be completely paperless and eco-friendly, is all set to come up soon at Vapi in Gujarat with support of the state government.

 

The primary objective behind the university is to provide world class education for the development of plastic industries and polymer industries at the global level. It also aims to optimise economical and industrial growth of the country.

It also aims to optimise economical and industrial growth of the country.It is widely speculated that the university will also conduct several short-duration management development programmes

 

The varsity is sponsored by Plastindia Foundation, an apex body of the country's plastic industry

 

It will be a completely paperless, eco-friendly, modern and research-driven university dedicated to one sector

 

Taving over 50,000 manufacturing units, it will bring talents into the Indian plastics sector and polymer industries, said a press release

 

The varsity would also create specialised managerial and technical talent for the sector, added the release.
