The company has launched 4G LTE services in three telecom service areas of Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh, Punjab and Haryana.
Shares of Idea Cellular were up nearly 2% at Rs 122 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company announced the launch of world class high-speed 4G LTE services in three more telecom service areas expanding its 4G offering to 7 circles.
The company in a release said that it has launched 4G LTE services in three telecom service areas of Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh, Punjab and Haryana.
Idea's 4G footprint is slated to expand across 750 towns by June 2016 in 10 telecom circles, the release added.
The stock opened at Rs 119 and touched a high of Rs 122.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. At 9:25am, over 117,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
