Around 1,800 kg of vegetables were sent via air freight to Dubai through the Farming and Handled Food Items Commodity Advancement Authority (APEDA) on Tuesday 24 Aug 2023. These vegetables were traded by a FPO (Ranchers Makers Association) - North Agro Rancher Maker Organization Restricted. There has been an increment of 248% in trade this year when contrasted with the main quarter of the last monetary year.

 

"Vegetables like Hoard Plum, Indian Cranberry, boda and parwal were sent out to Dubai from Lal Bahadur Shastri Global Air terminal in Varanasi on Tuesday. The transfer of Cranberry and Hoard Plum were shipped off Dubai interestingly," said APEDA appointee senior supervisor CB Singh.
