GreenDot Health Foods’ flagship brand Cornitos is now introducing two festive season flavors: Olives and Herbs and Thai Sweet Chili. These are available in 60 g pack and 50 g cans.
According to the company, the two flavors will tantalise the tastebuds of nachos lovers. The subtle salty taste of olives is infused with fresh Mediterranean herbs. Its nutritional value adds another healthy snacking option to health-conscious people and is a much-needed alternative during the festive season when calorie intake tends to be very high. Thai Sweet Chili flavor is an amalgamation of chili and sweet. The flavor compliments the season and keeps the snacking momentum on. The flavored nachos are made through traditional Mexican lime-treatment process with special food grade Non-GMO corn.
A 60g pack is priced at Rs 35 and is available at all leading retail outlets.
Cornitos is 100% corn snack, gluten-free, with zero cholesterol and zero trans fats and no MSG and contains up to 40% less oil than regular potato chips. Corn is a good source of fibre and has digestive benefits which makes nachos the perfect healthy snack choice.
The product has a pan-India presence. It is available across major FMCG stores such as Foodhall, Spencer's, Easyday, Nilgiri's, More, HyperCity, Auchan, and Big Bazaar. Cornitos Nacho Crisps are available for onboard sales in Air Asia, SpiceJet, Jet Airways, IndiGo, GoAir and Air India. It has presence in major multiplexes, airports and cafes. The products are exported to the US, China, Nepal, Singapore, Nigeria, Ghana, Maldives, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka. The company will soon be launching the products in Thailand, Korea and the UK.
The company was established in May 2009 and is a part of the well-known ‘Globe Capacitors’ Group of Companies. It stated that its production site in Roorkee was fully automatic and the highest hygiene standards were applied. It is an ISO-22000, HACCP and Halal-certified company. GHFL has registration from FSSAI and US FDA and is member of APEDA and SFA.
