Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers is expanding cement capacity of 0.15 million tpa to 0.23 million tpa in Karur district of Tamil Nadu. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 30 crore.

The work on the project is nearing completion and the commercial production is expected to commence by end of January 2016.
