Surana Solar, has announced that it is getting into the manufacture of LED bulbs and tubes with an initial capacity of 10 lakh units. In a statutory filing on the board meeting, the company said it proposes to enter the new line of business with an established entity in the market. The board approved a proposal under which the company would hold 62.50 per cent equity with an initial outlay of Rs.5 crore.
