UAE's Dubai - The India UAE Partnership Summit will be held in Dubai from January 23–25 in an effort to advance and strengthen economic ties between India and the UAE. The summit is being organised by the International Business Linkage Forum (IBLF) and Dubai Chambers.
The summit is been jointly organised by IBLF and Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers housed under Dubai Chambers. It was managed to hold in response to an increase in business interest between the two nations following the signing of the CEPA agreement and the introduction of Golden visas in the UAE. Additionally, it fits with the chambers' aim of luring foreign businesses to the emirate and assisting Dubai enterprises in going global.
India will be the UAE's second-largest commercial partner in 2021 and has the fifth-largest economy in the world. India is crucial to the economy of the UAE and is home to 3.5 million Indian nationals, who make up 30% of the country's population. India was the first nation to sign a bilateral trade deal with the UAE.
The three-day summit will cover important subjects like trade opportunities between India and the UAE, in-depth discussions of a number of industries like manufacturing, startups, healthcare, and food processing, as well as the UAE's Golden visa programme and its potential for both investors and businesspeople. Additionally, it will feature success tales of companies that opened and flourished in Dubai.
The India UAE Partnership Summit will include a number of keynote addresses and panel discussions and bring together top government and business speakers from the public and private sectors of both countries to discuss strategic issues as well as trends influencing the future of trade and the economy. It is expected to intensify already-existing corporate links between the two nations, open up hitherto unexplored markets for both, and take bilateral relations to new heights.
The international office of the Dubai International Chamber in Mumbai, inaugurated in 2018, works constantly with companies in the UAE and India to share market knowledge and promote industry opportunities for both countries to increase their global footprint. Through buyer-seller meetings, trade trips, networking events, and brainstorming sessions with companies about their ambitions for both markets, the office assists the business communities in Dubai and India.
