Hindustan Power has signed an agreement with UPPCL to establish a 435 MW DC solar project

Hindustan Power has entered into a power purchase agreement with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) to establish a 435 MW direct current solar project.

The company stated that the arrangement encompasses providing clean energy for 25 years from the initiative to be established in Uttar Pradesh.  
 
This solar power project, with a capacity of 435 megawatts of direct current (MW DC), aligns with the Uttar Pradesh government's ambitious goal of achieving 22,000 MW of clean energy capacity by FY27.
 
The initiative will provide the state with renewable energy while also generating employment opportunities and fostering sustainable development in the surrounding community.
 
"We are progressing rapidly to guarantee that all facets, from site development to stakeholder engagement, are carried out smoothly and on time. This initiative showcases our commitment to providing clean and dependable energy, while also aligning with Uttar Pradesh's goal of achieving a trillion-dollar economy," stated Ratul Puri, Chairman of Hindustan Power.
