Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) declared that it has begun producing and supplying electricity from further solar power plants in Khavda, Gujarat, totalling 448.95 MW. Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A Ltd and Adani Green Energy Twenty Four B Ltd, its step-down arms, operationalized the capacity.
In February of this year, a combined 551 MW of solar power plants at Khavda were operationalized by Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A Ltd and Adani Green Energy Twenty Four B Ltd.
An overall of 1 GW of solar power projects are currently operating at Khavda, Gujarat, following the operationalization of the most recent 448.95 MW of plants. Additionally, AGEL has raised its operational capacity for renewable energy to 9,478 MW, with a goal of 45 GW by 2030.
On March 4, 2024, it was decided to operationalize the plants and commence selling the power generated from March 5, 2024, based on the relevant clearances," according to AGEL.
