Premier Energies has secured an INR 1,700-crore PV module supply contract with NTPC. It will supply 608 MW of bifacial PV modules worked with made-in-India cells to NTPC's Nokh Solar based Project in Rajasthan.
Premier Energies, India's second biggest incorporated solar oriented cell and module maker, has been granted a 608 MW bifacial Solar based PV modules supply request from NTPC Ltd. Under the agreement, it will supply homegrown substance necessity (DCR)- consistent PV modules (modules worked with made-in-India cells) for NTPC's Nokh Solar PV Venture in Rajasthan.
NTPC, a public-sector undertaking possessed by the Government of India, India's biggest power utility with an introduced limit of 73,824 MW (counting JVs), with plans to turn into a 130 GW organization by 2032.
The NTPC request is esteemed at around INR 1,700 crore ($204.58 million). The module supply is supposed to be finished within a Period of Nine Months.
Premier Energies produces bifacial PV modules at its 40-acre state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad. Its Hyderabad office has a yearly creation limit of 2 GW of Solar powered cells and 4 GW of Solar modules, with a further 1.6 GW under development.
