INOX Air Products (INOXAP), the biggest producer of industrial, electrical, and medical gases in India, has inked a power supply and consumption deal with Serentica Renewables to supply 75 MW of hybrid renewable energy. The power will be sent to INOXAP's manufacturing units located throughout four Indian states via the interstate transmission system (ISTS).
Serentica Renewables CEO Akshay Hiranandani said, “This collaboration demonstrates our mutual dedication to promoting decarbonisation throughout India's industrial sector. Considering this project's size and interstate nature, it illustrates the evolution of our capabilities to provide large enterprises with clean energy that is reliable, flexible, and firm.”

Having signed this agreement with Serentica, we contribute to our decarbonization journey by significantly increasing our share of renewable energy in our energy consumption mix and moving closer to our Net-Zero target,” stated SK Jena, Head of Operations (LASU Onsite Plants) at INOX Air Products.
Serentica Renewables is a private sector renewable energy producer that was founded in 2022 with the goal of providing firm, dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) solutions to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors. Its hybrid renewable energy systems combine solar, wind, and storage resources to provide a clean, dependable power source around-the-clock.
The company now has 1 GW of renewable energy capacity, and it has ongoing projects in several states. With the support of KKR's $650 million investment, it intends to provide more than 50 billion units of renewable energy yearly, potentially replacing 47 million tons of CO2 emissions.
