Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), the world's biggest tractor manufacturer by volume, announced a collaboration with SARGA MotoCorp to expand its agricultural equipment business in Tanzania.
Mahindra has been present in the nation since 2008 and offers a broad variety of tractors and farm machinery across the whole agro machinery value chain. SARGA MotoCorp, a reputable corporation with global business activities, will offer its Automotive Industry expertise and market understanding to give the greatest sales and after-sales experience to Tanzanian farmers.
Sarga MotoCorp has created a conspicuous flagship store spanning roughly 300 square metres on Nyerere Road in Dar es Salaam as part of the agreement, as well as an 800 square metre warehouse and workshop. Sarga MotoCorp also wants to considerably extend its footprint across the country in the next months as part of an ambitious growth strategy.
Sarga MotoCorp will also onboard around twenty-five Mahindra Certified Service Points (MCSP) and three spare part dealers throughout Tanzania to assure the availability of high-quality and dependable parts and services.

In addition to excellent service, we will provide a two-year guarantee as well as a one-year/1000-hour maintenance kit, giving Tanzanian farmers great peace of mind. We are devoted to making a substantial contribution to projects such as "Build Better Tomorrow" in Tanzania, which aims to increase youth participation in agriculture for long-term and improved livelihoods.
For more than two decades, Mahindra has been active in Africa through its tractor and automotive businesses, selling tractors to over 30 African countries, with a strong presence in Tanzania, Algeria, Benin, Nigeria, Kenya, Sudan, and South Africa. Mahindra has a presence in the automotive industry, with goods catering to both the personal and commercial vehicle markets, such as SUVs and pick-ups, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, construction equipment, and generators.
Mahindra is actively developing cheap tractors and crop-specific mechanisation solutions for the African market, such as rice transplanters, paddy harvesters, cereal harvesters, and potato planters.
