Hyundai signs MoU with ASDC to train unskilled Manpower

Hyundai is organizing training programs across India with six different dealerships associated with HTTA (Hyundai’s Technical Training Academy). Hyundai has signed a MoU (memorandum of understanding) with ASDC (Automotive Skills Development Council) and will be organizing training programs to give opportunities to the unskilled workforce above the age of 18 years of age with the qualification of 8th grade and above.

This program will help the workforce get job opportunities into after-sales, service support technician and washer at Hyundai service centers.

“As a responsible and caring brand, Hyundai is aligned and committed to the Government’s Skill India initiative. We work with ITI’s and polytechnic institutes in every state where we absorb close to 99 percent students in different entities in the Hyundai India ecosystem. This MoU will further boost out commitment towards skilling and employing the youth of India.” Says SJ Ha, director of Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Limited.

Trainees will be given options to choose from the training programs they would want to opt for. All the training programs would be designed by ASDC like automotive service technician and washer training. The fees charged to the young trainees will be subsidized and once skilled, they’ll be working for after sales operations at different Hyundai dealership centers in India.
