Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country's second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter, has posted 25.7 per cent growth in Exports for the month of April 2013.
The domestic sales accounted for 32,403 units and exports stood at 24,551 units.
The exports have shown good growth on account of strong demand from non-European markets while the domestic market continues to witness pressure. Though there are signs of recovery with the increase in demand for petrol cars, Mr Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President, Sales and Marketing, HMIL said in a statement.
The Hyundai had sold 19,536 units in April 2012.
In the current difficult times, HMIL is continuously gaining market share with a strong product portfolio of tried and tested brands high on quality and aspirational value, he added.
